Pathway Certified is a youth workforce training initiative under Houston Community Ministries
designed to give young people, ages 16–24, the skills, certifications, and confidence needed to
enter high-demand career fields.
Our Mission
To empower youth with real-world job skills, mentorship, and moral guidance so they can build
sustainable careers, avoid cycles of poverty, and make a positive impact in their communities.
Why It Matters
In Texas and across the nation, many young people face barriers to meaningful employment—lack
of skills, lack of opportunity, and lack of guidance. Pathway Certified bridges that gap by
combining certified training with personal development in a supportive, faith-driven environment
